  1. This is an UNOFFICIAL binary compilation of Nethack 3.2.0
  2. for the Amiga computer.  It is not an official relase
  3. from the Nethack Amiga Dev Team, but is intended as a
  4. stop-gap solution for Amiga nethack players who can't
  5. build the game for themselves.  I fully expect this
  6. version to be superceded by the official dev team 
  7. binary release when it becomes available.

  11. This binary was compiled with SAS/C 6.56, 
  12. April 23 1996.  Source was retrieved from
  13. ftp.win.tue.nl in pub/games/nethack/source

  17. INSTALLATION:

  19. You must make the following assigns before 
  20. nethack will run.  If you unpacked the archive
  21. correctly, everything should be in a directory
  22. called nethack3.2 .

  24. assign both nethack: and hackexe: to this directory.

  27. RUNNING THE GAME:
  28.  
  29. To run the game, make any option changes to 
  30. the file Nethack.cnf, and then run the game
  31. with HackCli as follows:
  32.  
  33. HackCli -u character_name
  34.  
  35. The -u option to HackCli allows you to specify
  36. a user name.  Placing it in the OPTIONS= line
  37. in Nethack.cnf doesn't work.
